Europa-Park Rust

With over 850000 m² it is Germany´s greatest Themepark.
The park is split into fifteen different areas with over 120 attractions, i.e. Europe´s highest rollercoaster the Silver Star and lots of shows and other sensations waiting for you.

Rheinhausen

Rheinhausen is an idyllic village of about 3500, about 2km from the Rhine River. You will find most shopping in town, including a bakery, butcher, post office, etc.

The nature reserve Taubergießen is to the South and the warm climate of the area invites you to enjoy bike rides, hikes and other outdoor activities.

Taubergießen

The nature reserve is about 1 km from Rheinhausen. The area is full of waterways and is home to many endangered animals and plants. It is a favorite day trip for many hikers and bike riders alike.

Another option to see the area is by boat (guided boat tour) and we are happy to assist you with making the necessary arrangements.

Kaiserstuhl

The sunny Kaiserstuhl is the warmest region in Germany. It is famous for its very good wines.

Elsass

Elsass, the smallest french region is located between the Vogesen and the Rhein near the german border, approx. 8km from Rheinhausen.
You cross the border via Kappel or Sasbach and soon you will be in an idyllic wine-region to find several old castles and medieval towns for visiting.

Black Forest

The Black Forest is the largest wooded mountain range in southwestern Germany. Within roughly an hour you can be in Titisee, Schluchsee or even Feldberg. You can drive by car or take the train and enjoy the scenery.

Freiburg

Freiburg is approximately 30 minutes by train or car via interstate A5. It is a very quaint university town with a system of gutters (Baechle) running all through the center of town. There are many restaurants, clubs and entertainment possibilities for everyone.
